Our work
Our work is guided by the priorities outlined in Orange County’s Community Health Assessment; a report updated every four years. This process helps better understand the health of our community.
Health assessment priorities 2023 through 2027
- Access to care
- Behavioral health (includes mental health and substance use)
- Connections to community support (such as food, housing, and other local resources)
How we will meet our goals
Based on the priorities, the Healthy Carolinian of Orange County network creates a set of Community Health Improvement Plans (CHIPs). These plans explain how we will work to reach our goals. Our current strategies may be viewed at the online platform, known as Clear Impact.
How we will keep you updated
We publish State of the County Health (SOTCH) reports. The 2024 SOTCH report is available online on the Clear Impact platform.
