HOW TO INITIATE A COMPLAINT BASED ON DISCRIMINATION OR RETALIATION
STEP 1: File a complaint here or Contact the Orange County Non-Discrimination Coordinator and initiate the complaint.

STEP 2: The Non-Discrimination Coordinator will assign the complaint to an investigator.
STEP 3: The investigator will fully, fairly, and impartially investigate all complaints.
STEP 4: The investigation will be conducted promptly through the gathering of evidence, interviewing of witnesses, and appropriate documentation of all facts in evidence.
STEP 5: Upon completion of the investigation the investigator will, using preponderance of the evidence standards, issue a written determination of findings, which shall be provided to the complainant within ten days of issuance.
STEP 6: Orange County prohibits retaliation and any claim of retaliation based on a complaint initiated pursuant to this policy should be immediately reported and such complaint will be investigated and addressed promptly.
CÓMO INICIAR UNA QUEJA BASADA EN LA DISCRIMINACIÓN O LA REPRESALIA

- La Coordinadora de No a la Discriminación asignará la queja a un investigador;
- El investigador investigará completa, justa e imparcialmente todas las quejas;
- La investigación se llevará a cabo con prontitud a través de la recopilación de evidencia, la entrevista de testigos y la documentación apropiada de todos los hechos en evidencia;
- Una vez completada la investigación, el investigador proseguirá utilizando la preponderancia de los estándares de evidencia, emitirá una determinación por escrito de los hallazgos, que se entregará al demandante dentro de los diez días posteriores a la emisión;
