Hiring Information

Orange County EMS holds assessment centers three times a year. The assessment center is composed of a general job interview, a moral/ethical interview, a general medical knowledge test, and a patient assessment scenario. The patient assessment scenario is scored off the current NREMT skill sheets as provided below.

After a successful interview process you will be required to attend new employee orientation. These dates are predetermined and will be provided to you when you receive your offer letter. Typically orientation is held over two to three weeks from 8am-5pm on weekdays and covers all operational aspects of the OCEMS system.
