The Orange County Human Relations Commission is hosting a Community Conversation titled, “Hate, Heritage, and Hope: Orange County Voices on ‘Silent Sam’" on Monday, Oct. 1, from 6-8 p.m. at the Southern Human Services Center in Chapel Hill, 2501 Homestead Road.
Residents of varying views will work together to seek mutual understanding and to make recommendations on the issue. The event is free and open to all residents.
