The Orange County Human Resources Department will move to the third floor of the West Campus Office Building (131 W. Margaret Lane, Hillsborough) on Monday, and will remain there for the next year due to unexpected repairs at the Link Building. The entire project, which is being completed in four phases to address water intrusion issues, will take a little more than a year and will eventually impact other departments in the Link Building.
Staff phone and email contacts will remain the same. Some down time may be experienced during the move on Monday.
As part of the move, Asset Management Services will temporarily relocate to rooms 240 and 250 of the Whitted Building (West Tyron Street, Hillsborough).
AMS will eventually relocate to Major Business Forms on north Highway 86 when the building is available. Both departments will remain in their new locations through the duration of the repair project.
Later in April, the County Attorney’s Office and the Human Rights and Relations Department will move to temporary office space in the Sinclair Building at 105 W. Corbin Street, Hillsborough. They are expected to be in this new location for three months, then will return to the Link Building.
