[ARCHIVED] Orange County to recognize Martin Luther King Jr., Day

Orange County Administrative offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 21, in recognition of Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, with the following exceptions:

  • Orange County Solid Waste Management will pick up recycling as normal. Please have bins curbside by 7 a.m.
  • Carolina Dialysis Carrboro route will operate as normal on Monday, but all other Orange County Public Transportation routes will be closed. Normal service will resume Tuesday..
  • Animal Control staff will monitor the drop-off box, and an animal control officer will be available to respond to any animal-related emergency calls received by 9-1-1.
