Orange County administrative offices will be closed on Friday, March 29, in observance of the Good Friday holiday. Some services normally open to the public will also be closed on Sunday, March 31. Please note the following adjustments to county operations.
Solid Waste Management
Curbside recycling will not be collected on Friday, March 29. Friday recycling will be collected on Saturday, March 30. The Waste and Recycling Centers, Solid Waste administrative office, and the Landfill will be closed on Friday, March 29. The Waste and Recycling Centers and the Landfill will operate as normal on Saturday, March 30. The Solid Waste administrative office will be closed as normal on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31. The Waste and Recycling Centers and Landfill will be closed on Sunday, March 31.
Library
All locations will be closed Friday and Sunday but will operate as normal on Saturday, March 30.
Orange County Public Transportation
OCPT will operate limited service serving the county dialysis route ONLY (Carolina Dialysis Carrboro) on Friday. Full service will resume Monday, April 1.
As always, emergency services are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
The county will resume normal operating schedules on Monday, April 1.
