Orange County administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 4, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Please note the following adjustments to county operations.
Solid Waste Management
Curbside recycling will not be collected as normally scheduled on Monday, Sept. 4. Collection will be pushed back a day for the week. Customers normally served on Mondays will have their recycling collected on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Waste and recycling centers, the landfill and related services and Solid Waste administrative offices will all be closed on Monday, Sept. 4.
Library
All locations will be closed on Monday, Sept. 4.
Orange County Public Transportation
OCPT will operate limited service serving the county dialysis route ONLY (Carolina Dialysis) on Monday. Full service will resume Tuesday, Sept. 5.
As always, emergency services are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day. The county will resume normal operating schedules on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
