[ARCHIVED] Orange County Accepting Applications for Outside Agency Funding

Beginning Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, Orange County will accept applications for Outside Agency Funding for Fiscal Year 2026–2027. Eligible nonprofit and community-based organizations that provide services to Orange County residents are encouraged to apply.

Applications and additional information will be available online starting Dec. 12 at:
https://www.orangecountync.gov/738/Funding

To assist prospective applicants, Orange County will offer two sessions:

Application Orientation Session (In-Person)

This session will provide an overview of the funding process and step-by-step guidance for using the online application platform.

  • Date/Time: 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12, 2025
  • Location:
    Orange County – Whitted Human Services Center, 2nd Floor
    Donna S. Baker Meeting Room
    300 West Tryon Street
    Hillsborough, NC 27278

Q&A Session (Virtual – Optional)

This optional virtual session gives applicants an opportunity to ask questions and receive clarification on any part of the application or review process.

  • Date/Time: 9-10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 9, 2026
  • Registration: Registration will open one week before the session. Visit the Outside Agency Funding webpage to access the registration link.

Application Deadline

Applicants must complete and submit their applications and all supporting documents through the online portal by 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026. The funding application will be accessible via the County’s Outside Agency Funding webpage beginning Dec. 12, 2025.
