Orange County administrative offices will close on Wednesday, February 19 at 12 p.m., due to a forecast for snow. Orange County and surrounding areas are under a winter weather advisory on Wednesday, February 19 until 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 20.
Solid Waste Management
The Solid Waste Administration and Landfill/Disposal Center will close at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19. As normal, the Waste and Recycling Centers are closed on Wednesdays. Recycling will be collected from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. If your cart is not collected, please leave it out for collection when conditions allow.

All locations will close at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19.
Orange County Public Transportation
Orange County Public Transportation (OCPT) will suspend all transit services to ensure the safety of passengers, operators, and staff.
Service Suspension Details:
- Fixed-Route and Demand-Response Services – All transit services will be suspended starting 12:00 on Wednesday, February 19, until 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 20.
- Paratransit Services – All scheduled paratransit trips will be canceled for the suspension period.
- Medical and Essential Trips – Any pre-scheduled medical trips for dialysis or other critical appointments will be reviewed, and alternative arrangements may be coordinated.
