Orange County Government will be closed on Monday, January 20 to observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Please note the following exceptions:
- Solid Waste: On Monday, Jan. 20, recycling will be collected on Tuesday, Jan. 21. For the remainder of the week, recycling collection will be delayed by one day. The Waste and Recycling Centers, Orange County Landfill, and Solid Waste Administration Office will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20.
- Animal Services: Will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20. They ask that, as always, people call 9-1-1 if they have an animal-related emergency when they are closed, such as animal bites to humans or exposure to rabies.
- 9-1-1 Services: Will be available. Please only call 9-1-1 to report emergencies.
- Library: The Orange County Main Library in Hillsborough and the Cybrary will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20.
The county will resume its regular schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
