The Orange County Department on Aging and the Project EngAGE Mental Wellness Senior Resource Team invite the public to attend “Breaking the Silence” on May 30 in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month.
Join us for a dinner, documentary viewing, and discussion of I'm Good Bro: Unmasking Black Male Depression, a riveting film about mental health and its struggles from the black male perspective. We’ll shed cultural stigmas of mental health with an in-depth discussion facilitated by Michelle Chambers-Rollins, LCSW and Bryon Lawrence, LCMHC.
The event will take place on Thu., May 30, from 5:30 – 8 pm, at the Seymour Center, located at 2551 Homestead Road in Chapel Hill. Dinner served at 5:30 pm.
