These include people searching for full- or part-time jobs, wanting to start their own business, or volunteer. Our Employment Specialist is at the Seymour Center on Mondays and Fridays, and the Passmore Center on Wednesday mornings, meeting with people individually and conducting workshops. More… The training sessions will provide an opportunities to familiarize yourself with the new forms, documentation and workflow. Sessions include a PowerPoint presentation, detailed walk-thru of the submission process, and opportunities to practice writing titles and descriptions to meet the new guidelines. Prior to the training dates, pre-reading materials will be shared to best utilize our training time together. All staff are required to attend one training session, however, if you’d like you may attend all three. All three trainings will provide the same content with time to ask questions and an opportunity to practice. We encourage you to practice between sessions and attend additional sessions if needed to ask questions or gain more familiarity. Less…
