March 2023

For many, March marks the beginning of Spring.  For Orange County Recreation, that means two things: spring sports seasons (including Girls Volleyball and Youth Soccer) and Egg Hunt.  More information and links to program websites below; note that registration deadlines for spring athletics are just a few days away.

Program Registration

In-Person Registration: Visit the Bonnie B. Davis Environment and Agricultural Center, Suite 140, 1020 US 70 West, Hillsborough during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Note that Administrative offices are closed on County Holidays, including December 23, 26, and 27, and January 2.

Online Registration: Registration is accepted online at www.orangecountync.gov/activityregistration. If you or your family has participated with us before and you do not know your account information, call 919.245.2660 during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.-4:30 p.m. ) for further assistance.

Egg Hunt - Saturday, March 25

Egg Hunt

The bunny is excited to make a return visit to Orange County Recreation. This family-friendly event will include inflatables, face painting, crafts, and of course the hunts!  Hunts will be divided by age group at scheduled intervals. Open Gym

Thursdays: Pickleball

Did you know that the Central Recreation Center gym is available for open gym activities September through May? In addition to Badminton on Tuesdays and Basketball on Wednesdays, we have a dedicated group of Pickleballers on Thursdays who invite you to join them for play. Open Gym is free, but participants must check in at the front desk and sign a waiver to participate in open gym activities; a parent must sign the waiver for individuals under the age of 18.
