[ARCHIVED] Orange County to offer discussion on Seasonal Depression

SEASONAL DEPRESSION 1344x950

The Orange County Department on Aging and the Project EngAGE Mental Wellness Senior Resource Team invites the public to attend a presentation and a discussion on Seasonal Depression on February 26.

Many of us feel the “winter blues” as the days get shorter and darker while the nights last longer. Usually, those feelings of sadness may be resolved once the days start becoming longer again. Learn how to identify whether you or a loved one might have seasonal depression, what causes it, and some useful tips and tricks on how to keep it in check. Please join our expert Annie Deaver, MSW, LCSW-A, as she shares useful activities to keep your mind healthy during the winter months and year-round.

This FREE in-person event will take place on Thu, Feb 26 from 4 – 5:30 at the Seymour Center, located at 2551 Homestead Rd in Chapel Hill.

Please register by Tue, Feb 24 at 919-968-2070.
