Listening Assistance/Translation Services

Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act


For those attending Board of County Commissioners meeting, interpreter services and/or special sound equipment are available on request. Call the County Clerk’s Office at (919) 245-2130 in advance of the meeting to arrange for the service. Listening assistance devices are installed at each site. Mobile receivers with a single ear, over the ear speaker can be checked out at the beginning of the meeting.

Translation requests should be made before noon on Friday of the week before a regularly scheduled Board of County Commissioners meeting.
