Medicare Assistance

The Seniors’ Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) provides free, unbiased education and assistance with Medicare. We can help you understand when and how to enroll, how to choose between the different Medicare options, and how to read your Medicare statements. We offer classes and one-on-one counseling appointments.

You can also contact the North Carolina Department of Insurance for immediate assistance with all types of Medicare issues over the telephone.
