Board Organization
a. Election of Board of Commissioners’ Chair and Vice-Chair
The Board elected Jamezetta Bedford as Chair and Earl McKee as Vice Chair of the Board of Commissioners.
b. Designation of Voting Delegate for all NCACC and NACo Meetings for Calendar Year December 1, 2022-2023
The Board designated Sally Greene as the voting delegate for NCACC, and Anna Richards as the voting delegate for NACo.
6. Regular Agenda
a. Discussion on Process for Board of Commissioners Vacancy
The Board approved the process by which the upcoming vacancy on the Board of Commissioners will be filled. (Unanimous)
b. Boards and Commissions Selection Schedule, Interim Assignments and Alliance Vacancy
The Board approved:
- Extending the current boards and commissions assignments for members of the Board of Commissioners until both the appointment of a new Commissioner and the Board’s approval of 2023 assignments occur; and
- Selecting Sally Greene to serve in the interim on the Go Triangle Board of Trustees and Earl McKee to serve in the interim on the Durham Technical Community College Board of Trustees. (Unanimous)
c. Approval of a Professional Services Contract with CPL Architects and RHA Health for Advance Planning of a Behavioral Health Crisis Diversion Facility
The Board approved a professional services contract with the team of CPL Architects and RHA Health for preliminary planning associated with the development of a Behavioral Health Crisis Diversion Facility. (Unanimous)

a. Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness – 2022 Data Update
The Board received an overview of the work of the Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness (OCPEH), including updated data about homelessness in Orange County submitted to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) earlier this year, and current homeless system gaps.
