2. Introduction of Laura Jensen, New Clerk to the Orange County Board of Commissioners
The Board introduced Laura Jensen, as the New Clerk to the Orange County Board of Commissioners.
3. Reconvene the Continued Public Hearing from the December 15, 2020:
Virtual Business Meeting – Item 5-b – Zoning Atlas Amendment: Master Plan Development Conditional Zoning District (MPD-CZ) for Efland Station (formerly Beaver Crossing)
The Board voted to reconvene the continued public hearing and received additional public comment on an applicant initiated Zoning Atlas Amendment for parcels within the Cheeks Township of Orange County. The Board received public comment from over 30 individuals. The Board voted to recess the meeting and continue the public hearing on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Individuals who are scheduled to speak on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 have received an email from staff with next step instructions. While no additional names will be added to the list to speak, members of the public may provide written comments to all Board members by sending an email to ocbocc@orangecountync.gov.
