SAGE sponsors a group Walk on the West Side of the Triangle on the historic Occoneechee Speedway Trail. Remember to bring bottled water for hydration. SAGE is a program of the LGBT Center of Raleigh and an affiliate of SAGE USA, the oldest and largest organization dedicated to advocacy and services for LGBTQ elders. All are welcome to join this walk; you do not need to be LGBTQ or a member of SAGE to participate. All Ages! Unpack the history of how procedures were set up to curb the powers of the executive branch, examine the legal advantages a US president has that the average American citizen does not, discover the key roles that the media and the court of public opinion play in a presidential investigation, explore limits to the president’s ability to pardon specific individuals of a crime, and how investigative reports can help historians better understand past presidential scandals. Join Meghan Davis, Program Assistant Manager, as she gives an overview of programs and services offered by the Orange County Dept on Aging. It is a one-stop resource for wellness, lifelong learning, access to benefits and meaningful opportunities. This is your chance to ask questions and to take a tour of the Passmore Center.

Leaders from local environmental organizations will give short presentations on how we can expect climate change to affect us here in Orange County, as well as suggestions on things we can do to take action at both the personal and community levels.
