1pm to 2pm
Southern Human Services Building – Room D
Good afternoon everyone! This is a reminder that POC Caucus will meet tomorrow from 1pm to 2pm in Room D, in Southern Human Services Building.
During tomorrow's discussion, we will be watching a documentary series, titled "Hidden Colors" which was recommended by one of our caucus members. After the viewing, we will have a discussion around how it ties into the work that we do around race and health equity.
I also wanted to share if any caucus members have any great resources that they would like to share, or if there is a topic that you would like to highlight that hasn't been discussed yet at caucus, please reach out to me!
All people of color who have completed REI’s Phase l workshop, Latinx Challenge, and/or training with OpenSource Leadership Strategies, Inc. are invited and encouraged to attend. For newer participants, please see our purpose outlined below – we look forward to welcoming you to our caucus! And as usual, we hope the analysis from REI will help inform what we share, and we intend to create a protected space to speak openly, learn from one another, and heal together. We hope to see you there tomorrow!
