Orange County Health Department People of Color Caucus
Wednesday, September 4, 2019
12 pm to 1 pm
Whitted Building – 3rd Floor BOH Room

Please join us for OCHD’s POC Caucus! We will meet next Wednesday from 12 pm to 1pm on the third floor of the Whitted Building. Feel free to bring your lunch with you!

All people of color who have completed REI’s Phase l workshop, Latinx Challenge, and/or training with OpenSource Leadership Strategies, Inc. are invited and encouraged to attend. For newer participants, please see our purpose outlined below – we look forward to welcoming you to our caucus!

For next month, we thought it would be meaningful to discuss the results of the survey, as well as explore the topic of people of color working together in various capacities, to address the systems and 'isms' in our society.

Below, are two articles that relate to our discussion topic for next week's meeting.

And as usual, we hope the analysis from REI will help inform what we share, and we intend to create a protected space to speak openly, learn from one another, and heal together. We hope to see you there!
