Acrylic Painting – Beginners

Join artist Dan Eubanks and learn the basics of painting with acrylics. Instruction will include color application and blending, as well as working with the back, middle, and foreground of your painting. The Closing of a School: Central High

The Closing of a School: The History and Legacy of Central High, is a documentary about the only black high school in Hillsborough from 1936-1968 which was closed after desegregation. The documentary highlights the African-American community, desegregation and the closing of Central High, and the efforts to preserve Central’s legacy.

Ngoma Self Care

This class borrows elements of the Central African healing tradition called “ngoma”, coming together in dance with drum rhythms to deal with life issues. The activity will involve meditation, dancing to drums and discussion.
