Orange County Board of Commissioners 
 Special Meeting Notice for July 11, 2023

ORANGE COUNTY, NC (July 7, 2023) - Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute §153A-40, the Orange County Board of Commissioners provides notice that they will meet for a closed session on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 7:00 pm “to establish, or to instruct the public body's staff or negotiating agents concerning the position to be taken by or on behalf of the public body in negotiating the price and other material terms of a contract or proposed contract for the acquisition of real property by purchase, option, exchange, or lease,” in accordance with North Carolina General Statute § 143-318.11(a)(5).

The closed session will be conducted in the Donna Baker Meeting Room at the Whitted Building at 300 W. Tryon St. in Hillsborough.  Per North Carolina General Statutes, the meeting will start in open session. The public may attend the opening of the meeting until the closed session begins.
