ORANGE COUNTY, NC (May 1, 2023) - Pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes, Orange County provides notice that a meeting of the Orange County Schools Safety Task Force was held at 5:30 p.m. on April 27, 2023 at the Bonnie B. Davis Environmental & Agricultural Center, 1020 US 70 West, in Hillsborough, NC.  Notice for the meeting was inadvertently not sent to the Board of County Commissioners (Sunshine) email listserv.  The notice was sent to the Orange County News email listserv and posted on the doors of the meeting space.  The agenda for the meeting is available at the following link:

The only action taken at the meeting was the approval of the April 13, 2023 Orange County Schools Safety Task Force meeting summary.  A draft meeting summary for the April 27, 2023 meeting will be available from the Clerk to the Board’s office.
