6.  Regular Agenda
a.  Discussion on Process for Board of Commissioners Vacancy
The Board will discuss the process by which the upcoming vacancy on the Board of Commissioners (“BOCC”) will be filled.
b.  Boards and Commissions Selection Schedule, Interim Assignments and Alliance Vacancy
The Board will consider:
1)  Extending the current boards and commissions assignments for members of the Board of Commissioners until both the appointment of a new Commissioner and the Board’s approval of 2023 assignments occur;

2)  Selecting Board members to serve in the interim on boards and commissions assigned to Commissioner Renee Price based on her stepping down to begin serving in the North Carolina General Assembly; and
3)  Selecting a Board member to serve on the Alliance Health Board of Directors in place of Commissioner Amy Fowler.

The Board will consider the approval of a professional services contract with the team of CPL Architects and RHA Health for preliminary planning associated with the development of a Behavioral Health Crisis Diversion Facility.

a.  Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness – 2022 Data Update
The Board will receive an overview of the work of the Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness (OCPEH), including updated data about homelessness in Orange County submitted to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) earlier this year, and current homeless system gaps.
