ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MEETING CHANGE NOTICE FOR 2021
ORANGE COUNTY, NC (October 20, 2021) - Pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes, NCGS § 153A-40, the Orange County Board of Commissioners provides notice of the following changes in the 2021 meeting calendar.
Due to current public health concerns, the Board of Commissioners will conduct virtual business meetings during the months of November and December 2021. Members of the Board of Commissioners will be participating in the meetings remotely.
Additionally, the business meeting scheduled for November 2, 2021 has been rescheduled to November 4, 2021.
Finally, the November 11, 2021 work session scheduled to be held in the Southern Human Services Center will be relocated to the Whitted Building at 300 W. Tryon St. in Hillsborough. The work session will be conducted in-person and all attendees will be required to wear masks throughout the meeting and to remain socially distanced from others. Masks will be provided to those who do not have one.
As in prior meetings, members of the public will be able to view and listen to the meetings via real-time video streaming on the County’s website and on Spectrum Cable TV. The meetings will also be video-recorded for future television broadcast and reference on the County’s website.

November 11 BOCC Work Session at the Whitted Building – 7:00 pm
November 16 BOCC Virtual Business Meeting – 7:00 pm
December 2021 Meetings
December 6 BOCC Virtual Business Meeting – 7:00 pm
December 14 BOCC Virtual Business Meeting – 7:00 pm
