Plant Sale - Fundraiser
The Passmore gardeners will be selling plants from their beautiful garden. The plant sale will take place in the parking lot in front of the SportsPlex. Dementia – Let's Talk About It
Join OCDoA’s dementia care specialists for an ONLINE conversation around topics related to dementia education, living with cognitive change, and being a dementia caregiver. We will provide 15-30 minutes of education at the start of the hour, and the remaining time will be spent in conversation, Q&A, and resource-sharing around the day’s topic. You may register for one or multiple sessions.

Creative Crafts with Helen           
Creative Crafts will meet weekly. Projects will be easy to learn and fun to design. Classes will be held on Tuesdays at Seymour from 1 – 3 pm. There will be a $5 material fee for each class. The 55+ Brain is More Creative!
Recent neuroscience research has discovered a handful of biological changes that occur around the age 55 that naturally bring our brains to a more creative state. This 90 minute workshop will share the research and offer useful tips and practices to help you get the most out of these changes. The workshop will be fast paced, with creative exercises throughout. Consumer Reports: Medical Harm Workshop      
The workshop will provide you with tips on how to protect yourself from medical harm while being treated at a hospital, a doctor’s office, or an outpatient medical center through a series of activities. Air Dry Clay Mask            
Looking for something fun, expressive that is tailor made and hand-built? Come and experience clay design with International Artist and Sculptor, Susan Adler George. She will show you creative techniques as you make your one of kind decorative conversation piece. No prior skills needed! Bring a small square box to transport your mask upon completion. Dementia Basics – What Can We Expect?
This four-part series is designed to provide basic information about dementia to individuals with memory concerns, caregivers, family members, friends, and interested community members. Each week will focus on a different topic related to dementia. The series is designed to be taken all together, but you are welcome to register for individual sessions. .

Join artist Dan Eubanks and learn the basics of painting with acrylics. Night Out With Mebanesville      
Known for their distinct Americana genre, Mebanesville will take you on a musical journey through song and story telling. Discover all that transpired when worlds first collided on Oct 12, 1492, when Christopher Columbus first made landfall in the Caribbean. We will serve a tailgate dinner followed by an inside performance. Registration is required. Min:15/Max: 25

A fall twist on the trending charcuterie board! Charcuterie, a french tradition of assembling an assortment of meats, cheeses, crackers, nuts, chocolates, and breads is now a popular food trend outside of France. Confused about all the Medicare commercials and advertisements?  Join us to sort out what's true and what's just marketing as we head into Medicare’s Open Enrollment Period (October 15-December 7).  Free presentation by the Orange County Seniors' Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP), a service of the NC Department of Insurance in partnership with the Orange County Department on Aging.

Art Exhibit          
Our featured artist, Dan Eubanks graduated from NC Central Univ with a degree in Fine Art and also Visual Communication. After serving Orange County for 22 years as a Deputy with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, he committed himself to his first love - painting. He currently teaches acrylic painting at The Passmore Center.

Theirs was the love affair of the century. First cousins who married in their prime and had nine children. However, jealous of her role as monarch, is Albert attempting to make himself co-ruler of Britain?
