[ARCHIVED] Department on Aging to host Transgender Health Event on May 4

The Orange County Department on Aging and the Project EngAGE LGBTQ+ Senior Resource Team invite the public to attend a virtual presentation on, Transgender Health on May 4.

According to the Human Rights Campaign, the United States is estimated to have more than two million people who identify as transgender. Join us for an engaging and insightful presentation with UNC Medical Center – Dept. of Urology Transgender Health Program Nurse Educator, Shae Bardgett. 

Participants will learn updated information about transgender health, information about gender reassignment surgery services, and how UNC Medical Center - Dept. of Urology is making great strides in transgender healthcare for North Carolina.

The event will take place on Tuesday, May 4, from 4-5:30 pm via a virtual platform. Please register at www.orangecountync.gov/TransgenderHealth.
