Bring your confidential documents for free and safe destruction and recycling. Orange County residents, small businesses, and local government employees only (including Chapel Hill in Durham County). Wearing a mask is optional.

Drive-Thru Service. You must handle your own paper. 

• Paper must be in clear plastic bags, paper bags, or reusable bags (up to 13 gal) or boxes (no larger than banker box). Limit 4. 
• One trip per household or organization. 
• Confidential paper only (i.e., medical records, credit card information, Social Security information). 
• No receipts, newspaper, magazines, junk mail, catalogs, journals/notebooks containing non-confidential information. 
• No plastic or metal binders, metals rings/notebook spirals, plastic folders, or electronic media.
