According to Lumos, service is now available to almost 2,100 unserved addresses covered by the agreement with Orange County and another 2,100 addresses in the expanded project area undertaken by Lumos.

Once an area is lit for service, customers can make an appointment for installation. Customers who have already registered to be notified should be contacted by a member of the Lumos sales team to schedule an installation.

To register to be notified by Lumos when service becomes available in your area, visit

The company will provide additional communications (e.g. direct mailers, door-hangers) prior to construction commencing in your area and again when service becomes available.

If you have questions, please contact Community Relations Director Todd McGee via email at or at (919) 245-2302.
