Virtual Branch

Welcome our virtual branch

Curbside Service
Curbside service includes many safety procedures. We are isolating items between the time they are returned to the library and when you check them out, and our staff must remain physically distant from customers and each other. Click on the icon below to read how to place your curbside order.

Not a Book Club Plain Thur

Thursday, October 8
6:30-7:30 pm

The next best thing to reading a good book is talking about it with our fellow readers. We can't get together in person, but we'll gather online for an informal book discussion. We're "Not a Book Club,"  so there's no assigned reading and no pressure. Just grab a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, and let's talk books! Sign up here or call 919-245-2525.

Find out about our librarian-led and community-led book clubs here.

From Our
Teen Advisory Board

October 1-31

Inktober is an artistic challenge created by artist Jake Parker in 2009 to improve inking skills and develop positive drawing habits in a fun way. Since then, it’s become a worldwide endeavor with artists of all ages, everywhere participating. The Teen Advisory Board has held regular Inktober submission events in the past, but this year TAB is opening the event up to everyone and posting submissions on the library’s blog, Isolationship-Journal. Rules and details can be found on our calendar.
