Teen Advisory Board

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of teens who work to make the library teen-friendly. It's also a great way to get service learning and community service hours. We will re-start the program when we can meet in person.

When we begin to meet again, you may apply to join the Teen Advisory Board while at the Main Library or by filling out this form and emailing it to Miss Kafi, our Teen Advisory Board staff person.

How It Works

The Teen Advisory Board runs for a few months twice a year, January through April and September through November. Space is limited, so you have to apply for each session. We meet as a group (over snacks) every other Tuesday from 6-6:50 p.m. to discuss and plan things we want in the library for teens. On the weeks between meetings, members can schedule time to work on projects in the teen room if they want to get extra service hours. When we put together an event, members participate, eat tasty food, and have fun!
