We offer 2 types of books in a bag for you to borrow: Book Club Kits for adults and Literacy Bags for use with children from preschool to grade 5.

Book Club Kits check out for 6 weeks at a time. A kit may be renewed, if there are no holds on it. Thank you to the Friends of the Orange County Public Library for supporting this service.


Literacy Bags

Literacy Bags offer daycare providers, parents, teachers a selection of 10 books on 1 theme.

The Main Library in Hillsborough has over 40 themed Literacy Bags to choose from. These include picture book materials for preschool-age children and non-fiction titles based on school curricula from Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Literacy Bags may be checked out for up to 3 weeks and renewed 2 times, if there are no holds on them.
