Hill to Hill Public route
Triangle Transit Authority and Orange County have partnered to provide a public route (identified as TTA route #420) between Chapel Hill and Hillsborough, N.C. The public route serves downtown Hillsborough, Triangle SportsPlex, Chapel Hill North Shopping Center, downtown Chapel Hill, and UNC Hospital. Please note that not all stops are noted on the route maps – please contact us for additional stop information.

Elderly/Disabled Transportation
The Orange Bus offers Orange County elderly (60+) or disabled residents transportation from their residence to their medical care providers or shopping. Shopping trips are limited to once per week, however, medical trips are not limited. A certification form is required to qualify for this transit program.
Non-emergency door-to-door transportation to area medical facilities in Orange and Durham counties or to the closest provider can be arranged with one working day notice. Special rates are available to elderly (60+), disabled, or Medicaid eligible residents. This service is available to the general public on a seat available basis.

Senior Center/Nutrition Site Transportation
Daily transportation (Monday through Friday) is provided for seniors (60+) to Orange County nutrition sites and Senior Centers. There are two nutrition sites in Orange County: Efland-Cheeks Community Center (Richmond Road, Mebane) and Northern Orange Human Services Center (Rt 86, Cedar Grove); and two Senior Centers: Seymour Senior Center (opening soon - 2551 Homestead Road, Chapel Hill) and Central Orange Senior Center (Meadowlands, Hillsborough).
