Each year, Orange County Government, the Town of Carrboro and the Town of Chapel Hill invite program funding requests from non-profit providers that support the delivery of vital community services.
In the current fiscal year (2017-18), Orange County provided more than $1.3 million in funding to Outside Agencies. Orange County recognizes and respects the strong network of services provided by non-profit partners. Many of these organizations help to secure the social safety net for individuals and families who face challenges in the current economic climate.
Orange County Finance and Administrative Services Department has scheduled orientation meetings on Tuesday, Nov. 28, Tuesday, Dec. 5, and Tuesday, Jan. 9, for agencies interested in submitting an application. All meetings will be held in the Chapel Hill Public Library (100 Library Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27514) and will begin at 9 a.m. Agencies requesting funds from Orange County should electronically submit applications to the Finance and Administrative Services Department by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018.
