Since its inception, libraries across the country have geared up to ensure children and teens have opportunities to learn year-round. Over time, libraries have also created learning opportunities for adults.
This year’s theme is Building a Better World and encourages civic engagement. Sponsors of the festivities are the Friends of the Orange County Public Library, the Friends of the Carrboro Branch Library, the Hillsborough Running Club, and Pepsi Bottling Ventures.
