UPGRADE WILL TAKE ORANGE COUNTY RESERVATIONS SYSTEM OFFLINE IN LATE JANUARY

ORANGE COUNTY, NC (December 29, 2016) – Orange County will upgrade the computer program used by residents to register for classes or reserve county facilities at the end of January 2017. As a result of the upgrade, online and in-person reservation services will be unavailable, as will payment by credit card, from Jan. 22 through Jan. 30.

The web-based system is used by Aging Services, Asset Management, the Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation (DEAPR), and the Library.

Residents wishing to participate in daily classes at either of the Senior Centers can still sign up and pay the day of the scheduled class during the maintenance period. Payment will be accepted in the form of cash or check only.

Residents will be unable to sign up in advance for classes or reserve county facilities during this time. Orange County apologizes for the inconvenience as we strive to improve the service we offer to our residents.
