ORANGE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION ADDS STOPS TO ORANGE-CHAPEL HILL MIDDAY CONNECTOR ROUTE
ORANGE COUNTY, NC (October 17, 2016) – The Orange Public Transportation (OPT) Orange-Chapel Hill Midday Connector route will begin operating with additional stops on Monday, October 17, 2016. Two new stops are located at Highway 86 and Storey Lane near A.L. Stanback Middle School, serving both the southbound and northbound directions. Another stop will be located in the northbound direction at Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard and Homestead Road. The OPT Orange-Chapel Hill Midday Connector route provides service from Cedar Grove to Chapel Hill during the midday time period and mimics the GoTriangle/Chapel Hill Transit Route 420 service, which provides service from Chapel Hill to Hillsborough during peak hours.
