ORANGE COUNTY TO CELEBRATE PASSMORE CENTER BUILDING DEDICATION
ORANGE COUNTY, NC (September 13, 2016)—Orange County Department on Aging invites the public to the official renaming and dedication ceremony for its senior center in Hillsborough: the Jerry M. Passmore Center. The event, co-sponsored with The Friends of the Jerry M Passmore Center, will be held on Thursday, September 29 at 10:30 a.m. at 103 Meadowlands Drive in Hillsborough.
Previously the Central Orange Senior Center, the center is now the Passmore Center. The center is named for Jerry M. Passmore who served as the Orange County Department on Aging’s Director for 30 years and is responsible for building a progressive program serving older adults in Orange County. Guests will have the opportunity to talk to the honoree and enjoy light refreshments.
