ORANGE COUNTY, NC (August 30, 2016) – One major way citizens can have a positive impact on the future of Orange County is to volunteer to serve on the various advisory boards and commissions.   

Currently there are openings on the Orange County Planning Board for a Cedar Grove Township Resident and a Hillsborough Township Resident

The Orange County Planning Board studies Orange County and surrounding areas to determine objectives in the development of the County.  It prepares and recommends plans to achieve that development, including the suggesting of policies, ordinances, and procedures.
