ORANGE COUNTY, NC (March 10, 2016)—The Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness is in need of volunteers to perform various functions at the annual Project Connect event.

Project Connect is a free event that provides a wide range of essential services to people experiencing homelessness or those at risk of becoming homeless. Please spread the word and invite those who could benefit from these vital resources.

The event will take place on Tuesday, March 29, from 9:00 a.m. — 3:00 p.m. at the Hargraves Community Center, in Chapel Hill.

Volunteer roles include greeting guests, completing intake forms, preparing and serving food, voter registration, and other tasks.

Most shifts are 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. or volunteers can assist with the set-up the night before (Monday, March 28, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.) or clean-up after the event (3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.).

Hargraves Community Center is located at 216 North Roberson Street, Chapel Hill.
