ORANGE COUNTY OPERATIONS CLOSED ON MONDAY

ORANGE COUNTY, NC (February 15, 2016)–The Orange County Manager’s Office and Emergency Services Department are announcing the County offices will be closed on Monday, February 15.

The winter weather resulted in snow and freezing rain in Orange County. As a result, the County will suspend operations in the best interest and the safety of residents and County employees. Operations will resume on Tuesday, February 16, during regular business hours from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Due to icy conditions the Waste and Recycling Centers at Walnut Grove Church Road and Eubanks Road will be closed today.

The Orange County Construction and Demolition Landfill and the Administrative office on Eubanks Road will also be closed today. 

Urban and Rural Curbside Recycling routes are cancelled. Make up day for Monday, February 15, will be on Saturday, February 20.

The Sportsplex offers inclement weather care and will delay opening until 9:00 a.m. today. As parents may already be en route, the entire Sportsplex will be open today.

ORANGE COUNTY TO OPEN AT 10:00 A.M. ON MONDAY

ORANGE COUNTY, NC (February 15, 2016)–The Orange County Manager’s Office and Emergency Services Department are announcing the County offices will open on a two hour delay at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 15.

The winter weather resulted in snow and mixed precipitation in Orange County. As a result, the County will open late in the best interest and the safety of residents and County employees.
