ORANGE COUNTY TO HOST FAT TUESDAY EVENT
ORANGE COUNTY, NC (January 25, 2016)—Orange County Department on Aging invites the public to experience the Big Easy, Hillsborough style.
A Fat Tuesday - Mardi Gras Dinner will be hosted at the Central Orange Senior Center at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9. Live music will be performed by the Decatur Street Beat Dixieland Band.
Dinner will consist of traditional gumbo and King Cake. Guests are being asked to bring a dessert. Be sure to dress in gold, green, and/or purple, which are the festive colors of Mardi Gras. Attendees are encouraged to wear a mask, but one will be provided if you don’t have one.
