The Orange County Manager's Office manages all departments of County government to assure adequate levels of service are provided to residents as efficiently as possible. The Department implements the policies of the Board of County Commissioners and coordinates, monitors, and evaluates all County government activities.
Duties of the County Manager's Office include:
- Serving as a liaison between County Commissioners, County Departments, and residents
- Overseeing the development, presentation and administration of the annual operating budget and Capital Investment Plan
- Investigating and developing strategies for improving service delivery
- Providing the technical and management components for major County endeavors
