Public Computer Access
Free computer access is available at all Orange County Public Library locations. A library card is required to use the computers. Visitors who are ineligible for a free library card are allowed to use a temporary card upon showing a valid ID.
Most public computers are equipped with:
- Internet access
- Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Access

Printing
Black and white printing is available from public computers at all Orange County library locations. The cost for printing is $0.15 per printed page.
Wireless Internet Access (Wi-Fi)
Free wireless Internet access is available at all Orange County Public Library locations. Printing is not available from laptop computers.
Copies and Faxes
Self-service photocopy machines are available at all library locations. The cost for photocopies is $0.15 per page.
Fax services are available at Orange County Main Library and the Carrboro Cybrary. The cost to send a fax is $1.00 per page. The cost to receive a fax is $0.50 per page.
