June 25, 2011- A Stimulus Success Story. HUD says state aid helped keep the number of homeless people from soaring.
June 16, 2011 - The National Center for Homeless Education released the latest numbers from the Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program. Over 900,000 children attending public schools experienced homelessness last year.
On March 6, the CBS Program "60 Minutes" covered homelessness among children and families. The piece explores the effect of the recession on financially vulnerable families, poverty among children, families living in motels, and interviews with children experiencing homelessness. Watch the episode
