Vaccination efforts usually begin in August or September and continue through March. • B/Brisbane/60/2008-like virus

The Orange County Health Department offers three types of vacciens:

  • Traditional flu injections for adults and children
  • Flu Mist, the nasal spray formulation
  • High Dose Flu for people 65 and older - Persons age 65 and older may not develop as much immunity as younger people when given traditional flu vaccine. High Dose Flu Vaccine provides stronger protection.
