About Dental Health Services
The Orange County Health Department's Dental Health Services Division provides access to high quality dental services to the citizens of Orange County. We conduct a variety of dental health services and community outreach programs for children and adults.
About Our Staff
Dental Health Services staff is based in Hillsborough. The Health Department has a full-time dentist, Dr. Michael Day, a part-time dental hygienist, four dental assistants, and two office assistants. Most of our staff have been providing services for Orange County for over 15 years. We also contract with a dentist for one day a week and the UNC School of Dentistry for a dental resident to provide treatment services.

The Orange County Health Department's dental clinic is located in Hillsborough. (Our Carrboro facility closed in August 2011.) Call 919-245-2435 to make an appointment.
