Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) Services
The Orange County Health Department provides, free, confidential counseling and testing for sexually transmitted diseases (STD) at both clinical sites (Hillsborough and Chapel Hill).
Services include a physical examination, appropriate labs, treatment and counseling for:
- HIV
- Syphilis
- Gonorrhea
- Chlamydia (females only)
- Herpes (tissue culture for symptomatic clients only)
- Urethritis (males)
- Trichomonas
STD testing is by appointment with same day or next day availability.
